Welcome to Derby Grammar School - an independent day school in Derbyshire

Derby Grammar School is an independent day school for boys aged 7 to 16 and girls and boys in the Sixth Form. Our school has three distinct sections: Junior School for boys aged 7 to 11, our Senior School for boys aged 11 to 16 which is in turn divided into the Lower and Upper School and our co-educational Sixth Form. We are committed to offering each of our pupils an excellent academic education, a wide variety of challenging and exciting extra curricular activities and the care and personal attention of our staff.

As a small school great attention is placed on the individual and in this positive environment all pupils interact naturally together. Known and valued as individuals, their every achievement is encouraged and celebrated, whether academic, artistic or sporting.
